One wrong move and you're DEAD! There's now second chances when it comes to electricity. 

It could just be a fault that trips the fuse or be a major fault that becomes life threatening.

Whichever one it is, as an electrician you see these problems over and over again, done by DIYers or electricians with not enough experience. 

There is a reason you train to become an electrician, not only to be able to carry out electrical work, but to carry out SAFE electrical work by leaving the customers house knowing that they won't have any problems in the future.
