Welcome to Episode 81 of the #BigTalk podcast.

👉 Big Question: Are you projecting your own issues onto your clients, prospects, or team?

(I know I have in the past!)

When we are not doing the work to integrate our shadow self, we often project it onto others.

Suddenly things like:

💰 Late payments

❌ Boundary issues

💵 Refund requests

🙅🏻‍♀️ Client resistance to change

📉 Low sales

🥱 Lack of engagement

🚨 A missed deadline or sales target

… can really send us into fear, anger, overwhelm, anxiety, reactivity, despair.

So we call our coach and vent, have a cry, and remind ourselves to say our affirmations.

… But you know as well as I do, that helps in the short term, but it doesn’t really prevent us from being re-triggered!

… and let’s be honest…

👉 Often these emotions hold us back from coaching at our highest level, and showing up the way we need to in our business, even though we try and hold it together on the surface.

🤷🏻‍♀️ This can be a tough idea to get our head around… that we as the leader of our business could unknowingly be creating situations that hold us, and our clients, back.

I know you want to make an impact and create a positive ripple effect of change. But this is why it’s so important we do the deeper shadow integration work ourselves FIRST.

Welcome to Episode 79 of the #BigTalk podcast.

None of us are immune from the feelings that failure can conjure within us - embarrassment, powerlessness, doubt, even shame. Failure can also cause us to question what we thought we knew, as it shatters our ego's sense of certainty.
