Theologian Ken Samples from Reasons to Believe helps us think through this question and teaches how God has revealed himself through creation, conscious, Israel, incarnation of Christ, and through scripture itself. He explains, that when we struggle with this question unfortunately we are walking in a rebellious nature and the receptiveness of God's existence is a reflection of the condition of our heart. However, our acceptance of the mysterious nature of God ultimately will help us with doubt and into relationship with the Lord.
