Today we began our Advent series called "Emmanuel" looking at what happens when God comes near, from the story of Saul on the road to Damascus.

Aaron took us through the final verses of Mark, exploring the what, why and how of living out what we have learnt.

We asked the question "what is our response to the resurrection" as we read the final words penned by Mark in his account of Jesus', death and resurrection.

We looked at parts of the passion narrative in Mark's gospel and God's desire to align our thinking and perspective with His.

In Mark 13 Jesus calls us to embrace Persecution, Proclamation and Perseverance as we become carriers of His presence.

Luke shared about the importance and joy of being able to have a relationship with God.
