Julian Sinclair is a hot Hollywood star and he first kissed Medical Assistant Kristin in book 4 when he desperately tried to escape some frenzied fans.. and from then on he becomes fixated on 'getting to know' Kristin a whole lot more intimately. But these two are polar opposites and constantly verbally spar with each other - so how can Julian break through Kristin's prickly exterior she keeps just for him to see if there is something more between them. He thinks he'll get an opportunity at his brother's wedding to her best friend which is planned to take place in Las Vegas.. but Kristin is busy working trying to keep her parent's Bar/Grill afloat and isn't going. So what's a rich, sexy, charismatic Billionaire to do?.. well he pleads, teases, tempts.. and finally bodily removes Kristin from the Bar, tosses her into his waiting limousine and jets her off to Vegas.

At first Kristin doesn't believe Julian is serious as the two of them aren't friend and have been arguing and sniping at each other since their first meeting - so she just can't believe Julian's promises, pleas and pretty words.
