In this short episode I dive into the reasons I wanted to study biology. From early interactions in my childhood, to the books which have influenced me and how my religion also influenced my decision to choose biology. I hope you enjoy this short episode.

On this episode I'll be discussing the different theories of emotions that are linked to the brain. I'll also be discussing different components of the brain and their affect on emotions and how damage to those areas can cause loss or gain of a specific emotion!

Here I will discuss about the biological point of view of reality and go through the very complex role of the brain in th perception of reality. I will also go through the idea that 'seeing' requires more than just our eyes, as demonstrated by case studies and lab experiments!

This episode goes through the basics of memory and discussing the different types of memory. I will discuss the case of HM and amnesia

Neuroscience is a fast growing field, hence I split the Present discoveries of neuroscience into individual topics spread out in a 3 part mini-series. In this episode we will be discussing how the brain changes throughout our lives and look at evidence of how our environment could influence how our individual brain physically looks!

Together we will delve into the past history of neuroscience and see how different scientists experimented with the brain and how the understanding of the brain we have today was developed!
