Bio for Dr. Ryan Nolan
Dr. Ryan Nolan is a dental materials scientist who is among the nation's leading experts on the Oral Biofilm aka Dental Plaque. He attended the University of Illinois in Chicago where he majored in Chemistry before attending dental school at Midwestern University. Today Dr. Nolan is a full time researcher who studies key risk factors associated with dental decay and disease as well as hosts the Biofilm Factor Podcast. Dr. Nolan approaches dental health from a comprehensive standpoint advocating for early intervention, proper diet, custom hygiene regimens and risk factors testing to address problems before they arise. He continues to innovate dental materials and hygiene regimens and discovers new ways to improve oral health.
