Not a Biography, but a Bible Study
Given the title, I was expecting a history of the concept of god, not a Bible Study on the Christian God (each section opening with a prayer)..
Realizing what the book really was, I gave it a listen anyway, just to see what clever theologians were spinning these days, and the book was informative in that respect - filled with the latest weak allegories, preposterous claims, and faulty logic that you may face from proselytizers of such make-believe systems.
Curiously the author strives to show evidence, and, not realizing it, to his peril, for it occurred to me that if evidence were found, then he would no longer be a 'Believer', and the whole system, and his own salvation based on belief, are shot to hell.
Finally, to accept what the author proposes, you will have to turn off 9/10ths of your brain, which is, after all, the foundation of its authority and popularity.

Packed with so much information about God I will be listening to some of the chapters again!!
