HAPPY WORLD BIPOLAR DAY!! In this episode I talk about my experience with bipolar disorder (shocker); and how I handled (and didn’t handle) it. I also talk about a webinar I attended from the International Bipolar Foundation titled From Broken to Blessed with Sarah Schley and Dr. Jim Phelps. Both professionals in the field who shared their experiences and medical knowledge. I discuss what bipolar disorder is and what YOU can do to spread awareness and break the social stigma.

In this episode I discuss my diagnosis of bipolar disorder, the different types of bipolar disorder and how the general population views it. I talk about the differences between psychiatrists and psychologists and honestly just spit a lot of facts about what bipolar disorder is. I talk about Kanye and how just because you have a mental illness that does not give you an excuse to act like a shitty person.

Welcome to the fourth episode of The Bipolar B!tch! In this weeks episode I discuss starting my journey on Zoloft, and the stigmatization surrounding psychiatric medications. I talk about how I was so nauseous from Zoloft that I asked someone in a health food store where pregnancy lollipops were, and how I finally learned how to swallow pills!! I also discuss my OCD tendencies and my very particular night time routine revolving around a stolen figurine and a nip of whiskey. The point is I talk about how I was taking two antidepressants and was still constantly depressed. If this description doesn't make you want to listen to this podcast I don't know what will.
TW: Mention of suicidal ideation, and OCD

Welcome to the third episode of The Bipolar B!tch! In this episode I discuss my tricky relationship with alcohol as well as ~all substances.~ I also discuss starting Zoloft and the only psychiatric drug I've ever liked - Hydroxyzine or as I call it (Liquid Xanax). I discuss that one NYE when I was in an ambulance when the ball dropped, and how I essentially failed the math section of the GRE. So enjoy!!

Hello and welcome to the first episode of The Bipolar B!tch! In this episode I discuss the beginning of my mental health journey including the good, the bad, and the ugly. I discuss my experiences with therapy, my awful experience with a certain antidepressant *cough, cough, Wellbutrin* and my unjustified hatred of psychiatrists. Join me as I chat about how awful living with a mental illness is, and how awful it is to try and receive mental health services.
TW: Mention of suicidal thoughts, and self-harm
