Last time, you met Robin, but this time, we're going to introduce you to Birth Geek Hillary! She's a wicked smart and funny doula and childbirth educator who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the podcast. With her background as an anthropologist, she's got a real eye for details that most of us miss on initial observation and she uses her special powers for good.
Of course we wanted to start our podcast with an introduction to who the heck we are! In this episode Hillary interviews Robin Elise Weiss, her fellow Birth Geek so that we can get to know her a little better. Robin was the 20th DONA certified doula (trained by Penny Simkin herself) and is amazingly knowledgeable about all things birth and beyond. She also has some great long-game perspective about changing the birth scene locally and nationally too.
This is a short silly little introduction to our podcast. You can find out more at out website and seriously, we've got some BIG plans coming!
