Co-Parenting and Coffee

The Birth of Mom Guilt

Listen Later

Join us for our very first episode of Co-Parenting and Coffee, a podcast for women who are co-parenting or going through a divorce. This week we had coffee with Christina Pavlina, co-founder and executive director of Jane Does Well, a non-profit that helps women going through a divorce.

Christina shares her experience of co-parenting four children, who were each in very different developmental places when she and her ex-husband decided to divorce. This eventually brought her to discover the need for women to have support through the divorce process and how Jane Does Well came to be.

We discuss how important our friends and families have been through a very hard time and how we all created such meaningful relationships through shared experiences with other women who have “been there.”

As we chat, we discover–by accident–the origins of mom guilt and have a good laugh.
