It’s crazy to think this classic Bizzle rant ft. the great Simi Climo was waaay back in **AUGUST of 2019** when we first thought Hailee Steinfeld was *CONFIRMED* to be Kate Bishop. While we were forced to suffer for almost a year and a half before getting our first photos of Hailee filming with Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye in NYC (and she does indeed look SPECTACULAR in the Purple & Black!!!) we finally got her where she belongs — as a major Avenger for the near future and, in this Bizzle’s opinion, the future leader of the Avengers taking over from Captain America (more on that in an upcoming podcast with Jason Ritter about Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda aka the Scarlett Witch). This is a fun one, glad we finally got our girl!!!

(2021 update note & Possible trigger warning: we all still thought Joss Whedon was awesome all around 2 years ago, but I don’t want to mess with history by cutting out a couple minutes of praising him because hey, he indeed put Babs Gordon on WB’s radars where she should’ve been all along. Hollywood…. WTF)

2018: AU’s awesomest nerd journalist Alaisdair Leith of Novastream and beyond returns to the podcast!! It’s been almost 15 years since I first spent time in Africa and fell in love with the people of the Light Continent, so I need all the perspective possible on what people new to African culture think of BLACK PANTHER. DC Fandome aka Comic-Con 2020: THE BATMAN Exclusive with Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves! And then a mind-blowing first trailer...

What can you say - the brilliant, sensitive, eccentric, electric young actor who will probably end up being the best, longest serving, and/or most definitive Bruce Wayne/Batman in Robert Pattinson; followed by a phenomenally thoughtful, insightful, and engaging look into the making of THE BATMAN series with genius director Matt Reeves with an assist from the lovely and super cool Aisha Tyler. This is a MUST WATCH, and following (what we thought was) a spectacular first trailer for THE BATMAN, Jason "Jimbo" Ritter and I do a quick wrap-up of a mostly very successful day for DC Comics on film.

WONDER WOMAN is back with the incredible Gal Gadot! THE BATMAN already shaping up spectacularly with Robert "Battinson" and Zoe Kravitz leading the way. Time to cast yourselves back to the *last* great Batman movie (sorry BvS fans just our opinions) that was rated great at the time but seems to have aged not so well among super fans, especially after Joss Whedon's Avengers took the world by storm mere months before THE DARK KNIGHT RISES was released in the summer of 2012.

It’s a huge week for Batman and DC fans with DC Comic-Con this Saturday! Here’s a little 5-course appetizer to whet your appetite, loyal BizzleCasters. Despite it’s problems - and there are problems and we will discuss them and determine if they are "game-breaking" (spoiler alert: we love this movie so not a whole not a lot of big mega cheese fries full of problems).

We LOVE this movie, and you’ll see why (spoiler alert: the cast is one of the greatest ever assembled and every one of them put in 110% or more to try and make an inconsistent script as great as could be).
