On the one hand, some Black Americans were posting very negative images of themselves and making depressing comments about what the 4th Of July means to them. In contrast, many Africans were posting positive words and images and expressing joy of being in America.   Attitude goes a long way. In my view, the pictures that were posted on the 4th of July gave me insight into the mindset of many Black American people and it revealed to me how uncooperative and uncompetitive we are against African immigrants who are more positive, excited and appreciative of all the opportunity they have available for them in this country.
