The employee's husband's friend, who narrated the story, blamed the wife (FCMB employee) for breaking his friends heart, causing his heart attack and death. Should FCMB, the wife who stepped out or the second employee (an MD in the bank) involved, be blamed?

2020 was a year! A year we will never forget as so many shocking things happened. We had so much to talk about, so much that it couldn't fit into one episode. Covid-19 obviously took the front seat but we also discussed stories that made headlines both locally (Nigeria) and internationally.

Boarding schools in Nigeria are a hot topic this week because recently, a mother cried out on social media following the alleged starvation and sexual molestation of her kid because he was bed wetting in secondary school (aka middle school and high school). This was his first semester in secondary school and also probably his first time away from home. The starvation was carried out by staff of the school whereas the molestation was enacted by senior students of the school. Nigerian boarding schools are unfortunately notorious for bullying so we delve into pros and cons of sending your kid to boarding school, and repercussions for those who you entrust the care of your kid to in a boarding school.

How do you raise a well-rounded kid when you have ALOT of cash money? Are you team provide for them so they don't have to go through what you went through OR are you team they have to work hard just like you did?

Breaking News! Rising Nigerian artist, Justin Ug, was trending on twitter for all the wrong reasons over the weekend (Sunday 27.12.20 to be precise). A 17 year old lady has accused him of taking advantage of her sexually when she was 14. According to her, Justin claimed to be 16 at the time but she has just discovered that he was not 16 but 20. He lied to her, there was sexual intercourse and he blocked her thereafter. Is it statutory rape?

Next we go into the controversy that has erupted between Vanessa Bryant and her mother who is suing Vanessa for unpaid childcare fees. Should a grandparent charge for babysitting his/her grandchild? Also is omugwo (Nigeria's postpartum care culture) a subtle scam?

Then we discuss Gospel Singer, Tope Alabi's daughter, who has been in the news thanks to a man who claims to be a father and is demanding a relationship with her 22 years after. 

Lastly we quickly discuss a non family issue- Cynthia Morgan called Davido out for not picking her calls after he asked her to call him following her public cry for help. 

We really dig into the trending social media debate - was singer Queency Beena raped by Alaska Obi as she has alleged OR is Queency getting revenge because Alaska Obi agreed to pay her for sex but then refused to pay after the sex was done?

We also revisit what rape and consent mean as we discuss instances of non-violent sexual assault such as stealthing. Our discussion also begs the question - if a prostitute agreed to have sex with a client, only because monetary payment was involved, and the client refuses to pay after sex, can the prostitute claim she was raped since consent was tied to getting paid?

This episode is church heavy!

First, we discuss the controversies that surrounded COZA's Senior Pastor's 2020 Shiloh attendance. Should he be recognised when there are many allegations surrounding him? This lead us to our second pastor, Timi Adigun, who has been accused of teenage sexual harassment or 'inappropriate behaviour' as he called it.

Lastly, what does Jo Pearl's want from Burna Boy and the public after coming out?

Mr. Pius Angbo aka "Jackie Chan" of Nigeria, a journalist with Channels Television station, allegedly assaulted his wife who is a doctor. The wife cried out on social media and before we knew what was happening, the Governor of Benue state left more pressing state matters to attend to the couple. After the Governor counselled the couple, they agreed to put aside their differences and continue with their marriage. No public apology from the husband and no word on further therapy sessions to prevent future assaults. While we wish them the best, should the Governor have done more?

On a lighter note, we discuss a lady who doesn't earn very much but aspired to go to a very expensive restaurant. She said this aspiration in the presence of her boyfriend and his friends and her boyfriend proceeded to mock her aspiration by sharing the details of her low salary to all present. She was obviously embarrassed and ended the relationship. Did she over-react or was her boyfriend disrespectful?
