In the 15 years since Michael's passing, both his fans and the Michael Jackson Estate have undertaken numerous projects to continue his legacy. Productions like MJ the Musical, Square One, and Thriller 40 have all contributed to preserving and celebrating Michael's story. In the early 80s, Michael Jackson was the biggest superstar and entertainer in the world. He was also known to be a serious animal lover, and had amassed a menagerie of pets that lived with him at his home in Havenhurst. MJs most famous pet, and arguably the most famous celebrity pet in modern times, Bubbles the Chimp, came to be a source of love and support for Michael Jackson, as well as a celebrity and superstar in his own right.
