The Black Tapes

In this tape, I open up about some of the darkest seasons of my life — losing people I loved, sitting alone for days, and wondering if life was even worth living. I talk about church hurt, loneliness, and the moments when I felt completely unqualified and unseen.

I also share the moment I realized God never left me. Even in the silence. Even in the anger. Even when I was convinced I had nothing left to offer.

This tape is a raw look at the pain that shaped me and the grace that carried me. And maybe, as you listen, it becomes a moment that shifts something in your story too.

In this tape, you’ll hear me mention “Chosen, Not Qualified.” Since recording, the direction of this podcast has shifted, and the name has been reborn as The Black Tapes — the same heart, the same message, but now with the freedom to speak without filters.

This tape is all about the moment everything shifted for me — the moment God called me back even when I didn’t feel ready, steady, or qualified. I talk about the tension of feeling unprepared while still knowing deep down that God was pulling me toward something bigger than my fear.
