HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!

Did you miss us? Since this is the week that we would normally be coming back in a non-covid world Aaron and I thought we would do something fun for all of you. Believe it or not Aaron and I do other podcasts. Shocked you are I know! But one that we are really proud of, because we hope one day someone calls us for our ideas, is Remake This Movie Right!

The concept of Remake This Movie Right! was born out of Hollywood's obsession to remake every freaking movie from Aaron's and my childhood and completely RUIN it. We got the braintrust together to tell Hollywood how these movies SHOULD BE remade for a modern audience, literally how to Remake These Movies Right!

From Short Circuit, to Stand by Me, to Gremlins and The Princess Bride, no movie was safe in our production of this podcast, not even Star Wars! (Audible Gasp Emoji). Now that the 35th anniversary of one of the most beloved films of all time is upon us we took up the charge to attempt to remake The Goonies.

Sit back and relax and enjoy what Aaron and I do best, break down entertainment in a fun way while making fun of me and hearing Aaron come up with ideas that he thinks makes sense. If you love this and want to hear more just subscribe to Remake This Movie Right! in Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify and now Amazon Music. Or just go to the website RemakeThisMovieRight.com and all the links and info are there if you forget!

Remember Goonies never say die, much like Aaron and I.

It was a cray year on The Blacklist. We learn about Katarina, The Townsend Directive, Belgrade, Kuwait, Alaska, meet Agent Park, fall in love with Frankie to see her get killed, Red gets sick, and Dom gets shot by his own Daughter. And then Liz decides to make the ultimate transformation to go toe to toe with the man in the hat! Jon Bokenkamp joins the show to break it all down, talk about the animated finale and just what would we have seen had we finished all 22 episodes of season 7.

The two guys that faked Katarina's death are now on Red's radar but they are not the ones that Red should truly be concerned about.

Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.

Frank Merwin is an accountant for criminals and one of those criminals has hired The Kazanjian Brothers to watch over Merwin as he makes his way from New York to D.C. Turns out these same brothers are the ones that were hired by Katarina to fake her death back in the fall finale. They were paid the bounty from Townsend for proving her death. This bounty then went to pay Katarina her portion as all as a small amount to a mystery person. So why is she still interested in Red? That mystery lies with the Sokorski Archives, information that she has been accused of stealing but does not have. Red may hold information about the archives that Katarina needs.

Elsewhere Liz is struggling to decided which side of the conflict she should be on. Should she stayed partnered with Red and take down this woman she believes is her mother, or should she side with Katarina and finally get the answers she has been seeking sine the start of her and Red's coincidental encounter back in S1. Whichever side she chooses, Liz is animated that she will learn the truth when Season 8 returns soon.

We also had a conversation with two of the editors of this episode in an exclusive behind the scenes interview in the making of the episode. Be sure to stick around to hear from Chris Brookshire and Elyse Holloway as they share just how much work went into making this episode of the blacklist a reality.

Here are a just a few of our favorite scenes from this week.

Two very recognizable scenes this week. During the hotel scene when Liz and Ressler find the Brothers we hear "Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet. Then at the end of the episode when Liz turns into Batman we hear "Painted Black" from the Rolling Stones.

Donnie and Robbie are two brothers from Detroit and they both have secrets about the death of their father Robert Ressler and one Tommy Markin.

Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.

We take a break from the action this week to dive deep into Donald Ressler's past. His brother Robbie informs him that people are about to dig up Ray's Field to build a strip mall, so they need to hustle and dig up their past first. Turns out we get to learn about Tommy Markin, the man we know as fans to be responsible for his father's death. We see the scene in which Bob Ressler passes away and the effect it has on his sons Robbie, a do gooder looking to follow in his father's footsteps and Donnie aka Donald, a punk kid who is a drinker, smoker, a midnight toker. At the wake for his dad, Donald overhears Tommy talking to someone about the event and confronts him about the situation. Things go south when Donald shoots Tommy, and then Robbie coming to his aid finishes the job and buries the body.

Back in the present, having dug up Tommy's remains the brothers car is stolen by some Albanian's that Robbie borrowed money from. In order to get the car back back with the remains in it, Donald calls in help from Liz to take down the Albanian's but in the process confess everything from the brother's past. But what Liz does next is the most interesting part of the story.

Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: Will Ressler and Liz become an item? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.

Here are a just a few of our favorite scenes from this week.

We open the show this week with the pounding guitar cords of FINK's "Warm Shadow" as the cops chase down the perp in the housing complex. Later as Don I mean Agent Ressler waits for Robbie in the hardware store we hear him flash back to an oldie but a goodie "Black Hole Sun" from Soundgarden. As Robbie arrives to help his baby brother we hear "Blackbird Song" by Lee DeWyze. At the funeral for Ressler's dad we are treated to "Down The Line" by Jose Gonzalez.

Nyle Hatcher is one amazing person. Amazingly good at conning rich people out of money, hiding bodies, and raising a family .

Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.

Nyle Hatcher is hatching babies! He's also a serial killer while also being a swell dad. Hatcher, who never had any family growing up is a loner trying to find something meaningful in his life. Now older and wiser he hatches a plan to become a creepy version of Robin Hood to steal from the rich, in this case the deceased rich. He steals not only their money but their sperm as well, and sets up a rouse to give to the troubled, in this case prostitutes. He injects the ladies with the sperm of the deceased men, helping the prostitutes to term, framing the widows for a fake infidelity scam, but he never ends up giving the moms the money. Instead he buries them alive in freshly dug gravesites, takes the money and the kids and raises them as his own.

Elsewhere Dembe's Imam is in trouble as his Mosque is being targeted by the Feds in connection to Syrian extremists. Turns out the extremists actually turn out to be humanitarians and also have no connection to Dembe's Imam other than attending the same mosque. The Imam is kidnapped by a woman presumed dead by Red and Dembe, in the hopes that she, one Katarina Rostova, can get the answers she needs. .

So Red takes matters into his own hands playing cat and mouse with Cooper and the task force.
