Brock, Doc and Alicia gather around the figurative campfire to discuss this week's topics. Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the Playstation store, with a nice fun warning that you should probably have a next gen console to play it. No lie, Playstation store has a disclaimer with Cyberpunk's quality. Which by the way, is not much better from its recent patch. A modder recreated Goldeneye 007 maps in Far Cry 5's custom map creator, and Ubisoft deleted it. Due to an undisclosed company claiming copyright, Ubisoft wiped all the maps to be in compliance with the copyright strike. Corporations and their pettiness right? Playstation accidentally leaked its acquisition of Bluepoint studios. Could this mean the Metal Gear Solid remake is coming? Also, is DeadSpace making its return? Activision shareholders have voted for Bobby Kotick to keep his insanely high bonus, despite them thinking he's overpaid and contributed nothing to gaming. Oh Activision, why do you suck? Avengers is back in the topics for a very concerning bug that shows the IP address of the player while streaming. It's been patched, but has raised concerns for security of personal info. Square Enix out here trying to get people swatted.... EA has found a loophole in the lootbox gambling debacle, giving players the option to preview lootboxes before purchase. Santa Monica studios announce the new God of War game will be delayed into 2022. This news sparked toxic backlash from the community, and creative director Cory Barlog sweeps in to take the heat. Website owner of RomUniverse faced Nintendo in court over a DMCA lawsuit, and did so without a lawyer. He unsurprisingly loses and now owes Nintendo $2.1 million lol. Bold move cotton..... The details of the next Call of Duty were leaked, and it appears the next one will be a WW2 title called vanguard. And will introduce new bullshit into warzone. Fun..... Battlefield 2042 was FINALLY revealed along with some exciting new details of what's to come. But also some frustrating details are tagged with it. Welcome back after a long weekend! This week Brock is joined by his brother Austin to shoot the shit and discuss this week's hottest topics! Steam is throwing its hand in the console market with a Switch like console with slight differences. Which is weird, seeing as the rule the PC market 🤔. Nintendo pay walls a fast travel feature in Zelda: skyward sword, by making the feature only available through an amiibo figurine. Who wants to be that this will be a "limited quantity and limited time" product? Ubisoft seems to have done nothing about sexual harassment and assault issues, as #holdubisoftaccountable trends on Twitter after employees claim virtually nothing has changed. May 24, 2021 Ep. 53: Apple vs Epic and the naked banana
It's been a long couple weeks with our absence, but we are back baby! There's a lot to unpack with this one, so grab the coffee and rip its and let's get it! Bethesda's next biggest IP Starfield has been revealed to be an Xbox and PC exclusive. Also it's been revealed that the game is nowhere near finished, with full production only just starting in 2019. I smell the dumpster fire from here. Sony has filed a gambling patent for Esports betting with crypto currency. This should be fun.... Twitch seems to be cracking down on the "hot tub" meta by demonetizing ads on the biggest hot tub streamers. The cleansing has begun! Apple vs Epic lawsuit has been in full swing these passed couple weeks, and boy has some of the WEIRDEST testimonies we've seen with multi billion dollar corpo lawsuits. April 26, 2021 Ep.51: We did it live!!
Happy Monday y'all! This week the BLGP went live for the first time for an episode, and it did not disappoint! This week the Cyberpunk refund numbers were finally revealed after an earnings call with CDPR, and the numbers may actually surprise you! Sony decided that mistakes were made when closing the digital store for PS3 and PS Vita, and decides to keep them open. Called it! Discord ends negotiations with Microsoft buying them and turned down a fat stack of cash. How ballsy to turn this amount down to remain independent. Discord are true heroes in gaming integrity. Rumor has it the Metal Gear IP is up for grabs, and Microsoft once again may be looking to collect another infinity stone by scooping it up. Doc is back with another hoe story about his "Nocturnal Stripper" and I'm guessing she may be a vampire.... these and more this week! Enjoy your coffee like we enjoy our humor. Is this just a drop in the bucket, or a massive hit? Sony is said to be looking into the mobile games market as new job postings call for a mobile gaming team. Could Sony be gearing up to launch new mobile titles? Or are they trying to bring their top titles to your phone? Twitch's new ban policy is fun, as it reaches to investigate claims off of the platform. Speaking of bans, the reason's behind the ban of Dr. Disrespect may finally have come to light. This week, Brock and Doc discuss the "death of Mario" as nintendo removes Super Mario All Stars and other Mario titles from the online store. With the limited release for the 35th anniversary of Mario, why would Nintendo limit availability for hard copies and digital copies? With the bad launch of Cyberpunk, CDPR have been weighing in on whether to even have a multiplayer option set to release in 2022. Because a broken multiplayer is what a broken game needs.... Indie Devs for PS Vita games revealed they had no clue about the store shutting down until Sony announced it. Leaving devs no choice but to cancel or rush their games to release before thst happens. Activision is back on its bullshit as new warzone leaks come to light, and boy is the community happy.....
