Folks, we're finally here. The end of the line. All our efforts have led us to Castle Ravenloft. War wages outside, our allies fight tooth and nail against the legions of foes the Vampire Lord has set in their path. The task is simple - survive. Meanwhile, deep within the catacombs of the highly fortified lair, Call the Lightning prepares to face Count Strahd von Zarovich himself. Many have tried, and all have failed to depose the warlord. Armed with deadly purpose, the Light of Lathander, and some absolutely hulking muscles, the party begins their assault.
This final battle goes hard. We've had an absolute pleasure making this, and for those of you hear now listening, we can't thank you enough for your support over the last 10 months making this podcast! This will be our final episode of the Curse of Strahd campaign, with one last Graveside Chat to follow in the coming weeks.

We've always lived and died by the dice, and those of you who've been keeping up with the episodes know just how much delight and despair these little 20-sided dreams can create. Come along with Call the Lightning as they gather the forces of good against the unholy legions of Castle Ravenloft. Outnumbered, outgunned, but never outmatched, our heroes embark on what could be their last adventure together...
Thank you all for your support so far - this has been a dream to record and we hope you've enjoyed the ride.
Last week on The Blade's Edge, while they dreamt across the Amber Temple, our heroes received numerous boons to aid in the battle against Strahd. Revitalized and emboldened with their newfound power, Call the Lightning sets their sights on Argynvostholt - the ancestral home of the legendary silver dragon, Argynvost. What was once a stronghold against the undead menace of Barovia now rests as a haunted shell of its former self. Come along for the ride as we close in on our final tarokka readings before taking the fight to Castle Ravenloft!
We're back for another episode within the Amber Temple, and today, our heroes find their minds entranced by strange powers that grant them blessings... at a cost...
Slick new hairdos, super jacked bros, powerful emotional resonance with your GOD can you feel the heat coming off this episode? Call the Lightning is crackling with energy - tune in and buckle up, it's full speed ahead from here!
Greetings adventurers! We back at it again with another eppie, and today, we're headed into the Amber Temple in pursuit of Strahd's secrets. It's dungeon crawl time, so get your snackies, bring out the horn of mead, chill out and pray that we survive to see the pale grey sky of Barovia once again...
In the last episode, Call the Lightning met up with Jimothy and Yoch'Sizzler, who took a cosmic glimpse into our minds and struck a deal with the party. We took a nice break and long rested before heading out to the Tsolenka Pass en route to the Amber Temple. There, a heinous creature guarded our path across the chasm below...
Call the Lightning finally tracks down Jimothy at Lake Luna and learns what he’s been up to all these years. Turns out, he’s formed an unusual alliance with a mysterious creature beneath the lake, which we immediately renamed Yoch'Sizzler. The group shares stories, makes deals, and uncovers deep lore about the nature of Barovia and its strange, repeating cycles. Somehow, after a freaky brain-reading sequence, the party becomes a little more... unhinged than before. If that's possible.
Call the Lightning picks up on the trail of the Mad Mage's lost belongings; his Staff and Spellbook. We make a pact not to side quest (challenge rating: impossible) and cruise out on another venture across the wilds of Barovia. Their journey leads to the the ultimate side-quest of them all as they make contact with with a old party favorite...Jimothy himself!
Following the demise of one of the members of Call the Lightning, the squad takes off with a new member in tow. Stal'Vedokh aka 'Doc', the Warforged Artificer with a penchant for murdering werewolves. Our crew makes their way back into the woods north of Lake Zarovich, heading East. Doc yearns for the blood of lycans but strikes out, instead finding some trails of the Mad Mage after all this time...
As one more soul is added to those left to linger within Barovia, Call The Lightning mourns. Von Richten introduces a new companion for the group, Stal Veh'dokh aka Doc, the Warforged Artillerist with a lust for slaughtering werewolves. CTL set out to look for the Mad Mage, and shit gets silly immediately. Thanks so much for tuning in - have you had a favorite moment in our campaign so far? Let us know on Patreon!!
