Episode 61 was quite a night! We did something different. Instead of Blaze hosting, we had Sherri Shabazz & Brandon Todd take over as hosts. Then Blaze joined Tamiko Chambers as Power Couple panelists along with 3 other Power Couples. We spoke about love, first dates, cooking and jealously. You know we also had to dive into sex. So there were hilarious convos on what’s sexy, spiritual intimacy and food play. I must say in Episode 61 the men were to spill all the beans. This is a must watch.

Episode 59 brought forth Tamiko Chambers serving once again as my co-host. Together we got to chat with Power Couple: John & Kettelyne Hunter. Friends for 2 decades, now newlyweds on an intentional love journey. They shared their experiences being step-parents to each other’s children. They shared their first date memories. They also shared how they navigated being in a long distance relationship. We laughed, we reminisced, we compared dating in your 20s vs 40s. In the end we were all inspired to love openly and never let Life get in the way of what’s purposed for you. Let’s listen.

In tonight's episode we kicked off our Power Couples theme with Popp & Susan. They’re no strangers to the show as they’ve both individually been guests on the BLAZE THE LION PODCAST back in Season 1. For this episode I was joined by, my lovely co-host and life partner, Tamiko Chambers. I must say it was tons of laughs and tons of love. Popp spoke about the power of patience and consistency when looking for a partner. Susan encouraged women to lead with love and not with lust. Part of what makes them a Power Couple is that they both have strong movements in the community. Popp is a music CEO and advocate for positive hiphop while Susan is a non-profit founder and advocate for stopping gun violence. That’s 2 powerful visionaries committed to serving and uplifting their community thus changing the world.
