Why God closes doors—and how He leads you to something better.
In this Week 2 message of The Christmas You Didn’t See Coming, we look at how God uses closed doors to guide us toward His perfect timing and purpose. Mary and Joseph reached Bethlehem tired, uncomfortable, and in need—only to hear, “There is no room.” But that closed door didn’t signal rejection… it signaled redirection. God was positioning them for the miracle He had prepared from the beginning.
Closed doors reveal what’s filling our hearts and where God is guiding our steps. Like the inn, our lives can become crowded—full of stress, noise, and distraction. Yet the manger reminds us that God doesn’t need perfect conditions to move; He works powerfully in unexpected places. When we make room for Him, even the disappointments lead us into divine purpose.
The manger wasn’t Plan B. It was God’s perfect positioning—the Christmas you didn’t see coming.
Bible Verse:
Luke 2:1–7
