The guys kick off the final hour of the show looking ahead to Clemson-Texas A&M and Texas-LSU and discuss some interesting spreads from next week’s college football slate. Then they revisit the Texans’ draft record and Justin Verlander’s effect on the Astros. Next, they talk about the TV shows they are watching before reacting to the news of Netflix dropping new episodes weekly instead of all at once.

Fred and AJ kick the show off looking at the Astros’ stretch run of the season and compare it to the other top teams in baseball and Justin Verlander’s Cy Young chances. Then the guys recap Texans’ busy weekend before previewing Monday night’s game against the Saints. The guys begin the final hour with NFL week one predictions. The Seahawks and the Eagles are tied as the biggest in week one. And the big upset of the week was Tennessee vs George State and the fact that Oregon was leading Auburn until 30 sec in the fourth quarter. And UNC beats a powerhouse SEC team in South Carolina. The GEM of the day is a woman who broke the world record for eating three jars of mayonnaise in three minutes.
