The guys kick off the show talking about how slim the chances are of Jimmy Butler moving to the rockets and how it’s just hearsay. They then discuss NBA free agency predictions and what it could mean for the players and their teams. They briefly talk NHL then transition into the return of George Springer. Fred and AJ wrap up the hour talking about the placement of meaningful college football games throughout the season and boring bowl games.

Fred and AJ talk about the people who stood in for Fred during his vacation. Then, Fred talks to AJ about some of the best recent drama movies. Then, they talk about Whataburger being bought out and what they fear about it. Fred and AJ talk about the X-Men and the differences between the comics and movies. They go on to discuss different alcoholic beverages and proper bar etiquette. They end the day out with “Hey Man, Bleep That”.

Fred and AJ start off the hour talking about Tyler White and his batting. Then, the guys talk about the show Yellowstone and how its second season has started. Jerome Solomon, a Houston Chronicle columnist, joins the show to talk about Max Edison passing away and how much he influenced the industry. A teacher at El Campo high school has been fired after she produced porn in the school, no students were involved. Fred talks about the fact that he’s been dry since he left for his vacation. The guys talk about how they’re going to Vegas with Booker T.

Fred is back and kicks off the show with AJ talking about the heart of Houston’s sports teams. Then, they talk about the MVP for the NBA and how the Rockets reacted. Fred talks about how the poker tournament went for him and all of his experiences while there. The guys talk about how a radio station host is under fire for his comments on air, but he’s an owner of the station so any severe backlash is unlikely. The guys end out the hour talking about the differences between blackjack and poker.

The guys kick off the final hour of the show discussing the Texans hierarchy and the vacant gm position.  They discuss the Houston sports franchises and where they all stand in their certain leagues as of right now. Lance Zierlein, you can follow him @LanceZierlein, joins the show to talk to the guys about what he has been up to and give him a hard time on everything. They finish off the show talking about AJs favorite story.

Hour 2 of The Blitz is kicked off with John and AJ talking about the gay pride parade in Houston. They then get into the MLB and potential trade rumors/who would fit well in the Astros lineup. The guys discuss the NFL’s top 40 quarterbacks list and give their opinions. They figure out how to drink on an airplane the right way and finish off hour 2 talking about their travel experiences out of the country.

John Granato joins AJ during today’s show out of Twin Peaks in Houston. The show starts off with talk about the Rockets turmoil and everything we’re seeing during this offseason so far. They talk about the team's current state of being good, but not good enough to get the job done, and what this means for the future of the team. They talk about different beers and what their preferences are. The guys finish off the hour discussing the Astros lineup and who they enjoy watching at the plate the most.

AJ and Jerome are joined by Brad Powers and Steve Fezzik from Pregame.com in replacement of RJ Barrett to kick off the third hour. The group discusses various storylines throughout the NBA. Lauren Leal from Jerome’s show on KPRC joins the crew. The pair wraps up the hour with “Stupid Stuff We Said This Week.”

AJ and Jerome kick off the second hour carrying on their previous discussion about the NBA Draft and potentialities with some of the top picks. They cover Le’Veon Bell’s recent 911 call and what it consisted of, which spurns into a conversation of race. The Zadok Jewelers Gem of the Day falls at the end of the hour.

AJ kicks off the first hour of the show with Barry, waiting on the Houston Chronicle’s Jerome Solomon to arrive. AJ and Barry discuss the Usual Suspects show nickname, explaining the origin of “the big show.” Before leaving, Barry explains how he was fooled by a troll Twitter account.  AJ and Jerome talk about their children’s youth sports teams and everything that comes with it. Jerome takes a comedic approach to the lack of diversity in little league baseball. Next, the pair discuss the NBA Draft results, specifically Zion Williamson.
