In the first hour Fred and AJ tease a major announcement for tomorrows show, How teams are going about welcoming more fans back into games, and the NFL Schedules that were released last night.

In hour number two the guys talk about how much Austin has changed over the years, Michael Chandler joins the show to talk about UFC 262 taking place on Saturday, and the Gem of the Day.

In the final hour of the show the guys talk about Kenny Mayne leaving ESPN, the possible impact of the new 17 game season in the NFL and Hoffman on Hollywood. 

Fred Faour and AJ Hoffman start The Blitz by going over some of the key week 1 NFL matchups. The guys talk more NFL and preview the 2022 NFL draft class for the Texans. 

In the second hour the guys go over some more of the NFL games and give their predictions. Fred gives his opinion on which rookie QB has the best chance to surprise people. The guys also go over the new inductees for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. 

In the final hour Fred and AJ talk some UFC and AJ doing UFC broadcasts. AJ and Fred go over Tim Tebow signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. To close out the show the guys go over the Texans schedule and pick which games they think the Texans can win. 

Fred Faour and AJ Hoffman start The Blitz off with AJ's thoughts on Fred's new haircut. Fred and AJ talk over the horse racing landscape. To close out the hour Fred and AJ go over Texans GM Nick Caserio's comments on him not being a "draft expert." 

To open the hour the guys revisit AJ's original take on the 2019 LSU football team and Joe Burrow. The guys compare Joe Burrow vs Trevor Lawrence, and who would have gone first if they both were in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jerome Solomon from the Houston Chronicle joins the Blitz to talk Houston Texans and NCAA football. 

In the final hour of The Blitz Fred gives his "Gem of the Day," and Fred gives his latest report on the DeShaun Watson settlement rumors. 

In the first hour of the show the guys get into the Kentucky Derby controversy surrounding Bob Baffert who had some really strange comments regarding the situation. Also up this hour we take a look at the Texans front office situation and what Cal's favorite new video game is.
