To start the second hour of the Blitz the guys discuss Astros baseball, how much more exciting the season is going than expected, and why they need to beef up the starting rotation for October. AJ gives his takeaways for the UFC fights this past weekend and the guys discuss the “news” of Jadeveon Clowney and the Texans not close to a contract agreement. They switch their focus to the NBA playoffs and which series is already finish from the start. The guys do their usual Zadok Jewelers Gem of the day to end the hour.

To kick off the first hour of the show the guys discuss how remarkable Tiger Woods comeback is, how exciting his win at The Masters was, and where his career goes from here. Fred wants to know if the listeners would be interested if he were to create a post-recap after every Game of Thrones episode for this season. They change their focus to the Rockets dominating win against the Jazz and why the Jazz have no shot in this series. The guys give their recap of the first episode of Game of Thrones (spoilers).

On the third hour, they talk about the UFC and some boxing as well. With the NBA Draft approaching, the guys talk about the some of the college players that declared.

On the second hour, the guys talk about the best NCAA basketball and football coaches in Texas, they also talk to comedian Tommy Davidson about his career and his time on the show In Living Color as well.

On the first hour, Fred and AJ talk about how the Houston Rockets choked away the second seed after losing to the OKC Thunder; they also talk to boxer Regis Prograis about his upcoming fight as well. With season 7 of Game Of Thrones approaching they talk about that also.

In the final hour of the show the guys talk about the woman who is suing the Astros for shooting a shirt cannon causing her to break her finger. Then they do the deaths of the day.
