Live from Gulfgate Grayhound Park, Fred and AJ talk about the NBA Trade Deadline and the go over all of the moves that were made, they also talk about the Houston Astros and the possibility of them extending Justin Verlander.

On the second hour of the blitz, the guys talk about what is next for super bowl MVP Nick Foles and what they will do this offseason, they also talk about the MLB proposed rule changes as well.

On the first hour, the guys talk College Basketball as U of H continues their winning ways. They also talk about the NBA Playoffs and how the trade deadline affects the playoffs and if anyone can catch the Warriors.

The guys talk about Carson Wentz and his response to reports that he is a bad teammate to get the final hour of the day started. Fred and AJ discuss the ramifications of what you name your kid before getting into a larger conversation about having kids in general. Then the guys talk about the Eagles picking up the 20 million$ option on Nick Foles’ contract and how that could play out for Philly.

The guys get the second hour of the show rolling with a conversation about a highly controversial statement made 40 years ago by Liam Neeson that was recently unearthed, which turns into a conversation about race and racism that plenty of callers wanted to chime in on. The guys are joined by Houston Chronicle columnist Jerome Solomon to talk everything from Super Bowl reflections to Texans offseason predictions. The guys wrap up the hour with the Zadok Jeweller’s Gem of the Day.

The new producer is in the building as the guys get reacquainted with a familiar face in Aaron Raybould who is joining the Blitz as the new producer starting today. The guys answer some questions about whether marriage is outdated before trying to figure out an initiation torture for Aaron. The guys wrap up the show with a story about a lady who is an excellent shot in an unconventional way.

The third hour starts off with the Zadok Jeweler’s Gem of the Day. They guys talk about some Super Bowl commercials, and Astroworld memorabilia. The show closes out with the Dumbass Report.

The second hour starts with the guys continuing Super Bowl talks. AJ tells a story about a Twitter beef. Fred brings up very early odds to win next year’s Super Bowl.
