In a shortened final hour of the show, the guys begin with a story from England on the Zadok Jewelers Gem of the Day and they also discuss some of the bowl matchups. They finish up by talking about the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury fight and the MNF matchup.

To begin the second hour of the show, the guys run through the rest of the NFL games from the weekend. In the second half of the hour, the guys are joined by The Bench’s Lance Zierlein and they discuss Fred and AJ’s newfound trust in the Texans, why the Texans are better when they don’t rely on Deshaun too much, and why trends in the NFL are constantly changing.

To kick off another week on The Blitz, Fred and AJ recap their bets from the past weekend and talk about how the Texans are starting to genuinely impress them. As the hour rolls on, they continue to break down the Texans impressive win over the Browns and discuss how much the team has improved over the course of the season. To round out the opening hour, they talk about the final CFP rankings.

Fred and AJ open up the show talking about the Dallas Cowboys upsetting the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. The Cowboys win over the Saints makes the Houston Texans win over the Cowboys even more impressive. The guys address the Kareem Hunt video of him pushing and kicking a woman in a Cleveland hotel.

Fred and AJ start the final hour of the show with Brad Powers of Pregame.com to discuss the college football playoff standings and betting lines. Fred breaks some Cowboys news in the not available to play and LA Chargers OC Ken Whisenhunt interviews for Georgia Tech head coaching job. The guys delve into Astros acquisition rumors. Fred and AJ talk about the new Queen movie Bohemian Rhapsody and the best sing voices per scientific data. The guys do some Hollywood news and stories.

Fred and AJ start the second hour with college betting lines. Vegas sports gambling analyst Raphael Esparza joins the show to discuss the upcoming sports betting landscape this weekend. The guys do the NFL betting lines. HarrisFootball.com’s Chris Harris joins the show to discuss the NFL matchups and fantasy picks. AJ announces the A’s deal for a new stadium. Fred and AJ start the hour on location at Bombshells with excitement in the NFL Thursday Night Football Cowboys vs. Saints. Fred brings up the story about a woman that gets upset over an airline stewardess that makes fun of her daughter’s name. AJ talks about the Rockets and their roster issues. Fred introduces the fact that the clock starts ticking for NFL coaching hot seats, they transition to prior college and NFL coaches looking for head coaching jobs.
