To kick off another day on The Blitz Fred and AJ touch on the midterm elections and some of the related Twitter drama AJ got into last night. After the opening segment, they finish up their discussion on the elections, talk about the rumored Breaking Bad movie, and AJ explains why he hates the Walking Dead.

Fred and AJ in the third hour go over college basketball and lines. AJ plans on watching a little college hoops on opening night. Fred and AJ also look at the early lines in the NFL. They make their final plea to get people to go out and vote. The guy's "Hey, Man. Bleep That" are all driving related.

Fred and AJ talk about Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and how much longer he has with the Cowboys. Fred is upset on how ESPN is handling its programming, including Monday Night Football and on daytime ESPN programming. The guys continue to encourage people to vote. The news of Houston Astros' pitcher Lance McCullers having to get Tommy John surgery that will sideline him for the entire 2019 season. Houston Chronicle columnist Jerome Solomon joins the guys to talk about the Houston Texans winning streak, Lance McCullers out for 2019 and more!

To open up the final hour of the show, the guys run through last weekend’s college football slate. As the hour rolls on, they finish up their college football run through. To close out the show, they have a fun time on the Dumbass Report.

In the middle hour of the show, the guys begin by discussing the Texans recent run of good fortune and Bill O’Brien’s annoyingly bland play calling in the 2nd half. After the opening segment, they do a quick recap of the NFL weekend and are joined by The Bench’s Lance Zierlein to break down the Texans game and analyze some of the decisions the Texans will need to make in free agency.

To kick off a Monday edition of the Blitz, Fred and AJ recap their weekends and talk about why they still aren’t convinced by the Texans despite their 6 game win streak. As the hour continues, they discuss the implications of the Saints win over the Rams, potential playoffs matchups for the Texans, and why they are excited to see what the team looks like coming out of the bye. To round out the hour, they talk about why the Texans still need to prove themselves against the league’s better teams.

As the hour continues, they preview the Texans-Broncos game and hit on a few other NFL headlines going into the weekend. To round out the hour, they talk about some potential trades the Astros could make this offseason.
