There’s no doubt about it, your tongue is a weapon. You either use it to help others and yourself or you use it to hurt others and yourself. There is no neutral regarding our words. The works James requires are not done apart from faith but done in faith, not done instead of faith but done because of faith. Faith is the underlying stance of Christian life; deeds are the way of life; becoming mature and complete is the goal of Christian life. The paradox of all of this is that we must work and do what we can do while trusting God for the results in our lives and the lives of others.

If we really want to change, we’ve got to be willing to see ourselves as who we really are. Why change? Well, God loves us just as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us the same. Christianity is about transforming into something more complete, to become more like Christ which absolutely blesses the world around us and brings great inner peace.

The struggle is not always your enemy; it is often your entrance to the deeper places of spirituality. These trials are the pouring rain and radiant light that grows quality fruit in your life maturing you to completeness in your journey with Jesus.

Raising Godly children is the greatest task that ALL of us have been given. Whether you’re a parent, desire to be one, a kids worker, a teacher, grandparent, or anything in between – we have a responsibility to serve, love, and empower the next generation to follow God and live impactful lives. We believe that children and students need a firm and steady foundation that builds confidence in them, and to do this, we need to build our house on THE ROCK.

Everyone has influence, even if it’s only one or two people. We have influence in our home, family, work, and on our block. People are more than likely watching us (especially if we claim to be believers). How much more effective and powerful would our lives be if we took on the attitude of “WATCH ME”? Or if we took the approach that watching my life will make yours even better. In other words, this message will teach you how to be a spiritual leader in your world.

Family is old as time and some of the problems we see within our families are timeless or, for our creative purposes, “Jurassic.” Our goal is to foster a family atmosphere that reflects God’s original intention.
