In the Kingdom, some people receive more than others. In the Kingdom, some people know Jesus deeper. In the Kingdom, some people experience greater things. Often, the difference between those who experience ALL God has for them and those who live a limited Christian life is they don’t truly believe they are a very qualified candidate for the miraculous. There’s enough to go around, you’re not in competition, and God desires to pour his miracles over you today, RIGHT NOW!

Whatever you eat, that’s what you’ll be hungry for. In other words, you develop your own appetite. If you always eat a particular item, your body will crave it. What you feed grows, what you starve dies. What are you feeding yourself, what appetite are you developing? An appetite for the things of God or for the things of this world?

We live in a world that is broken, and people that are lost. And while we are guaranteed to experience pain from these things, it doesn’t mean we should live life dictated by these things. In fact, Jesus has shown us that our pain can be a part of a masterpiece, God wants to paint if we give it to Him.

Our culture of greed combined with multiple debt options breeds a mentality of, “If I want it, I can have it, and I’ll pay for it later.” In so doing, we compromise and mortgage our future while contradicting what God has called us to do with what He has given us.
