On the one hand, we talk about the modern approach to the gods within paganism, and on the other hand about current scientific insights that could bring us closer to the gods. so last week I had a wonderful and long session with Jörg from another Podcast and we talked for ages about Siegurd and Siegfried the main protagonists of the Vösungen Saga and the Niebelungen. We talk about Arminius, his future life and compare him with Siegfried, the famous hero of the Nibelungssage. We also consider how both figures were presented in the literature and what influence their stories had on later generations. Finally, I draw a conclusion about Arminius' historical meaning and his role as a myth and symbol.
