Psalm 5 is a prayer to call on God for help. David calls on God and asks Him to listen to his words and for God to hear his cry. The same applies to us; when we find ourselves in a bind and not sure what to do, it is imperative to turn to God and ask for help and wait in expectation for God to answer us.

Psalm 54 is a prayer for God's deliverance from the enemy. The enemy is an entity we can not see, and most often, the enemy will use people against us. But we have to remember that we are not fighting flesh and blood, but we are fighting powers of this dark world that we can not see (Ephesians 6:12). This reason is why we have to be in constant prayer. And, if the enemy is attacking you, remember that you have a mighty God who fights our battles for us. Seek God in prayer at all times to fight and overcome your enemies.

Remember, as a child of God; you are already an overcomer.

If you have reached your breaking point and don't know which way to turn, I will encourage you to cry out to God and ask Him to help you. God has plans for you and knows which direction He wants to take you. But it is your prayers that will begin to move God. This change comes with surrendering and submission, which is hard for many people to do, but it is what you need to do for God to move you in the direction He wants for you. I hope you will be encouraged and not give up. Instead, turn your attention to God, surrender to His will and watch Him move for you.

Psalm 32 is a beautiful prayer you can pray to God to ask Him for forgiveness. Remember, God, forgives us and does not hold our sins against us. As children of God, we have to love our Heavenly Father so much that the thought of doing anything against Him repels us. But, as we live in a broken world, there may be times when we don't act the way God wants us to - and God likes it when we come before Him in humbleness and ask for forgiveness of sin. Jesus said, go and sin no more and that should be something we hold on to all the time.

Psalm 31 is a prayer for help that you can Pray to God. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, and prayer is communication with God. Therefore, the Bible is telling us to talk to God all the time, every day. If possible, let your mind be filled with prayers, petitions, requests, praise, worship, and Thanksgiving to God. With your mind filled with thoughts towards God, it will also help to eliminate what comes to us naturally, which is worry, fear, and anxious thoughts which do not please God.

Jesus talks a lot about forgiveness, and the apostles also echoed the same sentiment. Forgiveness is vital to God because He knows the spiritual and even physical benefits of forgiving others. Despite all that, when we forgive, it brings us closer to God, it makes our hands and hearts clean, and it also makes way for God to use us for His purpose.

The enemy knows that forgiveness takes our lives to a different level; that is why he keeps people in bondage with unforgiveness.

Most often, before God uses you for an assignment, it is required that you go through the forgiveness process so that your heart and hands are clean. That way, the enemy will not have anything to accuse you of - Also, when you forgive and go through that healing journey, you grow spiritually and emotionally. Your interaction with people is mature, and you learn how to forgive people even when they hurt you again.

Psalm 20 is a psalm David sang/prayed to The Lord. In this Psalm, you can pray to God when you need help. It is also a psalm you can pray for praise and Thanksgiving. In this Psalm, we acknowledge to God that while others depend on their strength or circumstances and connections, we as children of God depend and trust solely on the name of The Lord.

The Lord wants us to worship Him more than anything else. He created us so that we can have fellowship with Him, and that includes communicating with Him daily, singing hymns, and our daily obedience to His words and commands.

Today's Psalm is for worship and praise; I pray you will take some time and read and meditate on the words. God wants to hear from you.

In today's reading, we take it from Psalm 96. It is a Psalm of worship. As you take some time to read it in your free time, meditate and pray to God. The Lord is pleased when we humble ourselves before Him in thanksgiving, praise, and worship. It does move the heavens. In the throne room of God, there is worship and adoration constantly, and God loves it when His children on earth participate in worshipping Him. I pray you are blessed as you participate in our daily reading.

The Lord loves it when we praise and worship Him and give Him thanks. Sometimes He will instruct you to stop petitioning Him and praise and thank Him instead. Thanksgiving is very powerful, and in some of the Bible stories, we can see how the nation of Israel in the time of Jehoshaphat, Israel defeated Moab by singing and dancing (2 Chronicles 20) So, I implore you to give thanks to God daily.
