The penultimate episode, number 9 of 10, jumped out at many like a Blue Scorpion jumping out of the darkness into the light and making everyone who saw it jump during its airing this past Thursday. Season 1, Episode 9, "The Blue Scorpion" seems to be thought of by many as the best one yet. With the exception of everyone named Jeff, Darrell and Robert look down the barrel at the plot points and the heart wrenching, yet sometimes hilarious portrayal of Jeff, by Chris O'Dowd. The hippies movement is contrasted by a handgun that acts like it has a soul, or at least bad intentions. Or does it? Nothing in the Twilight Zone is as it appears, not even a fancy gun that has a bullet with your name on it.
