God has made His story of redemption available to us. This story must be believed in its entirety, scope, design, and actualization. There is a rest in the story of redemption, there is a rest that has been made available through the finished work of Jesus. The story of our redemption contains a rest mode. Actually, this story not only contains a rest mode, the story itself in all the fullness of its spectrum speaks and points to God’s rest. We should not enter the story without seeing the rest of redemption.
We live in a busy, fast-paced culture where everyone seems to be drowning and caving in under the weight of stresses and stressors. We read about things in the news that make our hearts skip a beat, then we know things about our own inadequacies, weaknesses, frailties, and inabilities that never seem to be good enough to cancel out the weight of the pressure being thrown at us. Almost daily, people seem to be hard-pressed on every side, with little or no hope. Well, God did not design you to know yourself outside of the content of His story about you. When your eyes are open to see yourself in the light of His rest, then your heart would not need to skip a beat anymore, no matter what you hear.
There is a rest in His story that has to be believed, to be experienced, and here, we bring you the story of God’s rest. Join us as we conclude the LIT series with this all-new episode. You will love it!
