On this episode of The BOB Happy Hour, Backwoods Brewing Company CEO, Steve Waters, saddles up to our virtual bar to discuss impacts of COVID-19 on his business and shares what he has learned that can help his business thrive now and after the pandemic. 

 

In this episode:

  • Be a community driven business; you may not get immediate acceptance, so pay your dues, understand the needs of your community, and find opportunities to serve them. 
  • Understand that there are resources that have always been available to you, but didn't pursue it because old ways were working well.   
  • Accept that there are core parts of your business that you may not be able to do under the circumstances, therefore, lean real hard into the things that can work.
  • Round table for ideas to find find collective genius
  • Find and celebrate beauty that unexpectedly arises out of crisis.
  • Add the nimbleness that has been learned into the normal course of business.
  • Doing your best is neat and all but unless your nailing it for the customer, you don't deserve people's hard earned money.
