Growing up in the 90s, it was easy to look for fanbase who support English Premier League clubs. Whether its Manchester United or Liverpool, Aston Villa or Derby County, its always easy to find with just a throw of a stone.
Despite of its rich history, the same can’t be said about the Germany’s Bundesliga. However, all that is about to change with the introduction of satellite television that was broadcasting live matches from Germany. Pretty soon, a generation of fans who loathed the so-called biggest league in the world, found an alternative in clubs such as Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and in this episode’s case, Borussia Dortmund.
On this episode, we got in touch with Zahin Asyraf as we wanted to learn more about his affiliation with the Die Schwarzgelben and what makes the club so enduring and special.
We would like to wish our sincere gratitude to Zahin for taking his time to talk to us despite still feeling jetlag from the long travel from Dortmund back to Kuala Lumpur. We truly appreciate it!

We've been away too long so it was good to be back again recording another episode.
This time, we managed to track down the head coach of the Kenyan National Team, Harambee Stars. To be honest, our relationship with coach Firat goes some way back when we got connected on LinkedIn.
We had the pleasure of asking him on his coaching journey, his footballing philosophy and not to mentioned, there is also several interesting discussion on Malaysian football as well.
Plenty of discussion going on here so please do give this episode a listen.

I'm sure most football fans are well aware of South American clubs named after others places from around the world. From Barcelona SC in Ecuador to Argentina's Arsenal to Everton based on Chile; they all have a fascinating story to tell.
However club that is named after Malaysia? Well that is something else.
A few weeks back, a tweet from @hafeizh29 went viral because he managed to discover a team all the way from Montevideo, Uruguay named Malasia FC. Malasia is actually the Spanish translation for Malaysia.
We knew this will be an interesting story, hence why we decided to reach out to them via Instagram and asked if they would like to feature in our podcast. The answer was an instant yes, and they were truly honoured to be our guest.

Just a laidback episode as Sivan and Bala were joined by our extended family member, Ras from the Back Passt With Ras.
We talked about the World Cup, the feelings that goes through as the day approaches. We also touched upon on what does the Greatest Show on earth means to us as fan of the game. Is the criticism towards Qatar as host of the competition was valid? Yes, we did had our say on that too.
Anyway, we hope you enjoy this latest episode.

Paulo Josue, the Brazilian captain of KL City is back on our podcast.
Since the last time we spoke to him, KL City went on to lift the Malaysia Cup and are now riding high after defeating PSM Makassar. Hence why we just had to invite him again on our podcast.
As always, from our conversation, he is one player that is never about himself but rather than putting the team in front of him, always; as evident from the title of this episode. Not forgetting it is always fun chatting with him.
So hope you enjoy this episode.

The focus on football is often always on the top flight and professional aspect of the game. However, what is often forgotten, is the other end of the pyramid; the social, recreational and amateur landscape of football.
As we all know, football is just a game, and in the words of coach Gordon Bombay of the Mighty Ducks, games should always be fun. When talking about fun, you won't find anywhere better than having a kickabout with a group friends.
Hence why on this episode, we've got the best person to talk about this subject. Khal is an avid football activists and has been a prominent voice in promoting social, recreational and amateur football.

In the recent AFF Suzuki Cup, not only Thailand have regain their place as the Kings of South East Asia after winning the tournament, they have also played some of the most scintillating brand of football we have seen in this region.
This happened after the War Elephant have been enduring a torrid 2021 in which they didn't win any of their remaining World Cup qualifier games, thus missing out on the third round.
The brainchild behind this renaissance is none other than the head coach Mano Pölking, who took the job just a few months before the tournament.
On this episode, we asked Coach Mano on the background of his appointment for this job, the challenge that he had to undertake, expectation came with it and much more.
We would like to wish our sincere thanks to Coach Mano for taking his time to speak with us, it was a real honor for us to have him as our guest.
