Mississippi State had the weekend off, but the SEC pushed ahead with four games. Two of those games went according to script, while a pair of toss ups proved to be fairly entertaining.

The Ole Miss/Auburn game was mired with some controversy as officials appeared to miss a fumble that could have given the Rebels a victory. No matter how the Mississippi State family feels, Ole Miss appears to have a legit beef. We've been there before too.

Mississippi State struggled through another tough offensive showing on Saturday as the Bulldogs lost their third straight. One bright spot was the play of freshman Will Rogers. Rogers led State on its first offensive touchdown drive in nearly eight quarters.
