As we head into the first part of Chapter 2 in the book of James, he teaches us that those who put their faith in Jesus simply cannot favor one person over another ever. Believers are to value that which is intrinsic, or internal, not what is external.

1. Read James 2:14-26 at least twice in the coming week to prepare for next week’s teaching.
2. Journal and expand on what you’ve learned this week and/or take notes of what you’re learning as you read the text and prepare for the coming week in the second half of Chapter 2.
