In Chapter 3, verses 13-18 James talks about two kinds of wisdom: Worldly or earthly wisdom and heavenly or God’s wisdom. We all need wisdom but we want God’s wisdom.

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:17-18, NKJV

1. Read James 4:1-10 at least twice in the coming week to prepare for next week’s teaching.  
2. Journal and expand on what you’ve learned this week and/or take notes of what you’re learning as you read the text and prepare for the coming week in the first half of Chapter 4.
