This week on the podcast we finish up the gospels… we are going over the book of John! And I must say, John is my favorite gospel i think! Reading all four right in a row has given me a good perspective about how each one is similar and how they are different. I like all the details that John goes into about some of the events that were glossed over in the other gospels. It really shows another whole side of Jesus.

This verse really stuck out to me in the reading this week because I think recently I have been overly caught up with what happens once we die. Where do we go and how do we know? What this verse brought to mind is that, yes, the bible talks about heaven and hell some, but this verse reminded me that while Jesus does talk about our eternity, he also talks about our practical living here. Believing in him gives us life and life abundant, not only in eternity but here on Earth! What good news!
