Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. That’s not symbolic, and it’s not optional. God does not make exceptions. The moment you think He does, you’re already on dangerous ground. Try to come to Him your way and you lose. Come to Him His way and everything changes.

Every human being must face the reality of their sin. No one escapes it. There is coming a day when all will be judged and held accountable for everything they have done. For every person, that day of reckoning is certain.

From the very beginning, God created distinctions. With those distinctions, He gave us a call. In the fulfillment of that call, He established boundaries. Yet at some point, we chose not to honor those boundaries and began to blur the lines He clearly drew. Again and again, God warns us about the danger of erasing what He has defined. Now more than ever, we must heed His message and return to honoring the distinctions He has set before us.
