You may not know when it is coming, how it will come, or what part of your life it will target, but you need to understand this: the attack is coming. This is what you must do when it comes, because if you do not, the results could be catastrophic.

At first glance, the genealogy of Jesus looks like a simple list of names. But buried inside it is a royal curse that appears to create an impossible problem for anyone claiming David’s throne. Matthew traces one line, Luke traces another, and the difference between them reveals why the virgin birth was not merely miraculous. It was necessary.

John the Baptist looked at a nation waiting for the Messiah and delivered a warning they were not prepared to hear. Jesus was coming, but not in the way many expected, and His arrival would expose what was real, separate what belonged to Him, and bring consequences no one could escape. What John said next was powerful enough to confront a ruler, provoke a reaction, and ultimately cost him his freedom. The question is whether we are any more ready to hear it today.

There are times when God stops dealing with the surface and begins exposing what is underneath. This is one of those warnings. The issue is not appearances, religious language, or how things look from the outside. God is going after the root, and when He does that, everything fruitless, false, and empty is about to be revealed.

Never confuse religious movement with the presence of Jesus. Never confuse proximity to God’s people with walking with the Son of God. Never assume He is with you simply because you are surrounded by familiar religious activity.

In Luke 2:21-40, we read about one of the most significant moments in human history, yet almost nobody recognized it. Jesus was presented at the temple, fulfilling God's promises and demonstrating the very principles that would characterize His entire life and ministry. His humility, obedience, faithfulness, and mission to bring salvation to the world were already on display. Yet because most people failed to recognize who He was, they missed what He had to offer. This passage challenges us to consider whether we are truly seeing Christ for who He is and embracing the life-changing truths He came to reveal.

Nothing God does is accidental or reckless. Everything He does is filled with intentionality, especially when it comes to His plans for those who trust Him. God's faithfulness in the past reminds us that we can trust Him with the future. When we understand that He always accomplishes His purposes, it changes the way we view every challenge, every uncertainty, and every promise He has made to us. This is what we have to look forward to.

We live in a world filled with pain, darkness, fear, and uncertainty, and most people wonder if things will ever truly get better. In Luke 1:67–80, God breaks centuries of silence with a message of hope, declaring that the suffering, separation, and darkness that have plagued humanity would not last forever because the Savior was coming. This was the beginning of the end of hopelessness, the beginning of the end of sin’s power, and the beginning of God changing everything through Jesus Christ.

Contrary to the claims of many, God is not only active in our lives daily, but He is on the move accomplishing more than we could ever possibly imagine. Today, we’re going to talk about that and why it has everything to do with you.
