Great series

I actually read this series a while back and didn't realize this was one of those books. I gave the series five stars so I'm giving this first one five.

Not the whole story

This book is an erotic romance but it feels like it is not the whole story,

The book was good, but then it just ended in the middle of a scene, so disappointed.

Jamie is extremely passive, rarely does she speak out of turn and normally she always keeps her mouth shut. She is the type that wants to please everyone and is always willing to sacrifice herself to please those around her whether they are deserving of it or not. Family is family and no matter what they say or do to her she will always be loyal. So it is not surprise when her boyfriend leaves her for her sister which is a size 2 compared to her size 12. She takes this in stride, when her ex begins to come on to her almost raping her, she too defends her family.

Alex likes all kinds of women but when he sets his sites on Jamie as a new employee, introduced to him by an old college acquaintance. His world is about to tip on its axes and he is going along for the ride, but it is the tempting personal assistant is getting under his skin and the more time he spends with her the more he wants to protect her. The more he is going to do everything to get her in his bed. As soon as he finally gets her, it ends.

After I listened to this audio book I looked up the other books, there are more in written format but not audio.

Starter story.

This one of those stories that just makes you want to smack the main character's whole family. I am not sure why this grown woman listens to her family to such an extent that they literally try to ruin her life. I felt as though the story accents too much on the main character's weight. I mean I get it already the family wants her to loose weight but ,geez, does it have to be throughout the whole story. Then to have to plan pretty much the whole family who thinks you are nothing but a modern day Cinderella. SMH All I know is I hope her next book ends better than the first. Oh and I forgot to mention, in case you missed the cover, she is working for a very hot boss.
