On this episode, we’re going to talk about Everything Everywhere All at Once. This film is a 2022 American Sci-fi comedy drama written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.
Everything Everywhere all at Once follows a Chinese American woman, Evelyn Wang, who finds her world falling apart with her laundromat business being investigated for tax evasion, her soon to end marriage with her husband, Waymond, her disapproving father, Gong Gong, who disowned her for marrying Waymond and most importantly, her daughter Joy, who keeps growing more and more apart from her because Evelyn fails to accept certain decisions she takes. Life takes a turn, when another version of Waymond (Alpha Waymond) appears from another life path, another universe and takes Evelyn on an unusual adventure in the multiverse.
