Hey my loves,
This episode is a different format for me, it's just some thoughts of mine about how the way we prepare for birth is directly linked to our self worth.
We discuss the concept of self worth, self belief, self trust and how they all have the potential to hold you back when it comes to birth.
Have a listen to the episode, let me know your thoughts in the comments or find me on instagram @thismumhypnobirthing.com
Until next week, take care of you,
Stevie

Hello Everyone,
In this episode were joined by my very impressive client Ellie. I always say the way Ellie navigated decisions and choice was awe inspiring, she made bold decisions and leaned right into her intuition to make decisions to go home and give birth against medical advice, because she knew she was fine and her baby was fine.
Listen to the full story, we hope you love it.
For courses head to www.thismumhypnobirthing.com I would love to support you to have your best birth.

Hey hey hey,
I am so glad to be back I've missed gabbing to you each week, and sharing my two pence worth on all things birth.
I took a hiatus because it was the summer holidays and recording a podcast in a quiet room with three children don't really mix. I'm not bougee enough to have a podcast studio outside of my own home YET unfortunately.
SO....what to expect for this season
LOTS more guests... I've got a whole load of people lined up from clients to experts...people, midwives and even doctors.
You can also still expect the usual, all the information that you'll need to make all the decisions you'll have to make for your pregnancy and birth
See you next week, take care of you

Hey Everyone,
In this episode, we explore one of the most common decisions facing pregnant women diagnosed with gestational diabetes.... when and how to give birth.
If you’ve been told you have gestational diabetes, particularly if your blood sugars are well controlled and your baby is growing normally, you may find yourself wondering:
We break down what the evidence actually says an i'll help you work out how to individualise your own care
In the episode
We discuss:
Induction at 39 Weeks
Many NHS trusts recommend induction at 39 weeks for women with gestational diabetes
We explore:
Waiting for Spontaneous Labour
For women with excellent blood sugar control and normal growth scans, waiting for labour to start naturally may also be a reasonable option.
We discuss:

Hey Everyone
In this Episode we discuss the rising rates of c section in the UK and why more women than ever are having one.
We discuss the fact that c sections have been totally normalised in our society and they are actually very often played down to women making their birth choices.
We talk about the benefits and risks of having a c section, including the impact on yours and your baby's long term health. (research below)
