Looking at Exodus 3 and 4, we see Moses expressing his feelings of inadequacy, inability, ineffectiveness, and incompetence to God.

In Exodus 2:11-25, Moses makes a poor decision, but it doesn't disqualify him from being used by God.

In Exodus 2, Moses is born and his mom keeps him hidden until she can't do it any longer. She has to give him up, but God protects Moses and allows his mother to continue to be part of his life.

We begin our journey through the Book of Exodus. We look at Exodus 1 and consider the struggles and hardships that the people of God have to endure and who and what we trust along that journey.
