Behind the Brand: Deloris Davis’s Story | Brand & Bloom Podcast Ep. 3
🎙️ Behind the Brand with @thebrandandbloompodcast
In Episode 3, I’m sitting down with Deloris Davis, owner of Divine Inspirations, for an honest conversation about the journey behind her brand, learning how to show up, and embracing social media with greater purpose and intention.
Deloris shares the story behind Divine Inspirations and opens up about what it has taken to grow personally while also growing her business. We talk about stepping outside of your comfort zone, becoming more visible, finding confidence in showing up online, and learning that building a brand requires you to allow people to connect with the person behind the business.
Throughout our conversation, we dive into faith, purpose, personal growth, visibility, and entrepreneurship, along with the lessons Deloris has learned as she continues to develop her brand and become more intentional about how she presents herself and Divine Inspirations to the world.
This episode is a reminder that sometimes the biggest shift in your brand isn’t a new logo, strategy, or piece of content—it’s deciding that you’re finally ready to show up.

In this episode, I’m joined by LaKesha Davis, owner of Healing to Happiness LLC, for an honest conversation about what it really looks like to build a business, find your voice, and create a brand that reflects who you are.
LaKesha shares how what initially felt like closed doors in her career ultimately redirected her toward private practice and entrepreneurship. We talk about her journey of building Healing to Happiness, finding clarity in her vision, and how going through my Build-Up Program helped her become more intentional about her brand, her message, and how she shows up online.
We also get into the realities of balancing being a therapist, business owner, wife, and mother, the importance of boundaries, why success isn’t always about playing the numbers game, and what she has learned about protecting her time while continuing to serve her clients well.
LaKesha also shares her vision for the future of Healing to Happiness and her desire to eventually expand beyond traditional therapy into a resource hub that can meet more of the needs she sees within families and the community.
If you’re building a business, navigating a season of redirection, learning how to show up authentically, or trying to balance your purpose with your personal life, this conversation is for you.

What if the key to sustainable growth isn't doing more—but knowing your capacity?
In this episode of The Brand & Bloom Podcast, I'm sharing a candid update on what's been happening behind the scenes in my business, what I've learned from another month of showing up consistently on YouTube, and why understanding my capacity has become one of the most important lessons in my entrepreneurial journey.
After wrapping up my Let's Be Real YouTube series, I've spent a lot of time reflecting on growth, boundaries, and what it takes to build a business that is both impactful and sustainable. As entrepreneurs, it's easy to believe that growth means adding more—more clients, more projects, more content, more commitments. But sometimes growth requires us to pause, reassess, and ask ourselves what we realistically have the capacity to carry.
In this episode, I share why I restructured my Build Up Program, how I learned from running back-to-back cohorts, and why creating space between launches has allowed me to better serve my clients while protecting my own energy. I also talk about my upcoming Build Up Retreat, future podcast guests, the importance of setting boundaries around social media, and why rest is just as important as productivity.
If you've ever felt stretched thin, overwhelmed by your responsibilities, or unsure how to balance your goals with your real life, this episode is for you.
Sometimes the next level isn't found in doing more.
Sometimes it's found in knowing your capacity.

In this episode of the Brand and Bloom Podcast, I’m talking about what it really takes to be seen in your business—showing up.
If you’ve been overthinking your content, posting inconsistently, or hiding behind your brand, this is your reminder: visibility requires action.
I’m sharing what’s been working for me, how I’ve been building momentum, and why you don’t need a perfect plan to start—you just need to show up.

In this episode of The Brand & Bloom Podcast, I’m keeping it real and talking through a space I recently found myself in—a funk.
After being on the go for so long, juggling business, family, ministry, and everything in between, I hit a point where I just didn’t feel like doing anything. And instead of ignoring it, I had to pause, reflect, and ask myself: Is this rest… or am I stuck?
I share what that looked like for me, how I pulled myself out of it, and why self-awareness is so important—especially as entrepreneurs who wear multiple hats.
I also talk about my upcoming “Let’s Be Real” YouTube series launching May 1st, where I’ll be going live every day to have honest conversations about the things we don’t talk about enough—direction, purpose, consistency, and showing up when life feels heavy.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, or like your to-do list just keeps growing while your energy is low—this episode is for you.
Sometimes the reset starts with something simple. And sometimes… you just need to be real about where you are.

In this episode of the Brand and Bloom Podcast, I’m reminding you to pause and give yourself credit for how far you’ve come—while also challenging you to keep showing up.
As entrepreneurs and content creators, we can be so focused on what’s next that we forget to acknowledge our progress. But growth requires both reflection and consistency.
If you’ve been putting in the work but questioning if it’s paying off, this is your reminder: you’re doing better than you think. Now it’s time to keep going.

In this episode of the Brand & Bloom Podcast, I’m sharing my real, behind-the-scenes experience of going live every single day for the entire month of February—at the same time, no matter what.
What started as a strategic leap of faith turned into one of the most impactful decisions I’ve made for my brand this year. I break down why I chose YouTube, how consistency played a major role in growing my channel from 26 subscribers to over 270 in one month, and what this experience taught me about visibility, trust, and showing up—even on the days I didn’t feel like it.
This episode isn’t about complicated analytics or overwhelming strategies. It’s about doing the basics well, getting out of your head, and building momentum through intentional action. I also share the exact steps I took—from pre-recording content, promoting select videos, creating shorts, and keeping everything simple and sustainable.
If you’re a small business owner, content creator, or someone who’s been sitting on an idea waiting for the “right time,” this episode is for you. My goal is to encourage you to rip off the Band-Aid, take the first step, and allow your brand to bloom.

In this episode of The Brand & Bloom Podcast, I’m sharing the why behind my brand and the intentional decisions that shaped my business. I don’t do anything “just because,” and this episode gives you the real backstory.
I talk about why I deleted my Instagram, rebuilt my brand from the ground up, and spent nearly a year immersing myself in strategy, personal branding, and consistency—not just for myself, but so I could better serve my clients. I wanted to experience the process firsthand before guiding others through it.
I also share how discovering personal branding changed everything, how my Build Up Program came to life, and how my work has expanded into YouTube. I introduce my February 2026 YouTube live series, where I’m going live every day at 1 PM EST to talk about what it really means to show up for your business—confidence, consistency, clarity, and cutting through the noise.
If you’re a small business owner or solo entrepreneur who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to focus, this episode is for you.
