First year HC Joey Fields is building something special over at Hoover and despite not winning his first game last week. His team went to work and got a victory this week over Nitro 49-14. Fields captures his first victory as the Huskies head guy. 

Nick Watts joins Brandon after his Red Dragons defeated the Capital Cougars for the first time in program history last night 12-6. Previously 0-19 since Capital opened it's doors in 1989 and the Red Dragons are 2-0 to start the season for the first time since 2007.

Fairmont Senior HC Nick Bartic joins The Brandon Lowe Show. The Polar Bears defeated #2 (AAA) Spring Valley at home this past Friday and are looking to continue their winning ways on Sunday against RCB.

Coach Mays got his first victory as the head man over the Cougars of Capital last night 47-14. The Black Eagles forced four turnovers including two pick sixes. The Black Eagles move on to play GW (1-0) next Tuesday at 7pm. 

Coach Watts celebrates his birthday today with a nice win over rival Nitro last night 26-13 in the Battle of the Bridge. Coach Watts talks to Brandon about his team's performance and what it meant for the Seniors to be back out on the field playing and to go out with a victory over a rival. 

Coach Izzo-Brown joins the show to talk about her ninth ranked Mountaineers, going through Covid, getting back into shape, playing in the Big 12, and their next contest with Texas Tech on the road. 

Nitro HC Zach Davis gave us a preview of his team leading up to the Battle of the Bridge against the Red Dragons of Saint Albans this evening. This is the first game for both teams as the county has now moved into Gold allowing football games to happen.
