Many of us are quick to look outwardly but never take the time to look inwardly. Most times the key to happiness lies within us and not around us. Ae must first look inside us to see what it is we can do to make our surrounding more pleasant for us and those within your vicinity.

People want to hang out at the finish line but they don’t want to run the race. Why is that? Well, it’s because people want the prize without the heartaches that come with it. People don’t want to be humiliated. I get that, no one does, but you have to be willing to eat dirt to get the prize. Remember, the tortoise was constantly made fun of by the rabbit and probably by many onlookers but that freaking tortoise WON!

In a world of a lot of noise, sometimes we just need to take time and listen more than we talk. There is way too much talking and not enough listening. Knowledge comes from "taking in" "not spewing out". Take more time to listen to someone today rather than having "diarrhea of the mouth” Trust me, you will learn something new.

When is enough, enough? If you love the game more than you love the prize, that’s when you know you’ve got something special. Many people see a growing business as a “sell out” or a company that is solely “in it for the money” I beg to differ, these companies only have one thing they are focused on and that is the game. It’s funny how we may not be in favor of entitlement programs yet we sometimes act like entitled people. A degree or just simply showing up to work doesn’t entitle you to anything. The faster you register and understand that the better off you’ll be in life. I always say “Go out there and do it” The reason behind that is because no one owes you anything.
