Season 2 is here and to kick it off we start with the amazing Karla, the owner of Salon K. She has a very positive outlook on Battle Creek and the growth that is happening. She also is very community oriented and strives to help anyone she can!

She talks about her passion for sustainable fashion and how she left her secure job at a name brand retailer and started her own clothing store where she takes second-hand clothing and repurposes them. She can alter them in any way and has a very keen eye for creative styles.

Cory Patterson is a local artist that has a great mind that wants to create an art culture in the Battle Creek Area. He has been anywhere from Costa Rica to LA.  Brandon Fitzpatrick is a rising local difference maker. He is the band leader of Minor Element and a co-founder of Blvcksheep. He has a great mindset on being successful and staying focused on the goal at hand. He has become a good friend of ours and we enjoyed chopping it up at the shop.

Jordan Edwards is one of the up and coming entrepreneurs of Battle Creek. He is making a huge splash around the city making his delicious sweet treats. He has been operating JJ's Sweet Treats for two years and is launching his new storefront at BC Cargo. As alumni from the BC Cargo, we want to highlight one of its newest members!
